“This short-term, winter break course provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in a multi-disciplinary short-term instructional Study Abroad experience. The course is rich in research, environmental, and cultural content. Located in the vibrant and diverse ecosystems of Belize, the course facilitates structured observation, reflection, and synthesis of experiential learning coupled with the exploration of the indigenous Mayan and Garifuna cultures. The curriculum encourages students to understand the relationship between the field experience and their career goals.”
