FBI Honors Internship

The Counterterrorism Division in the FBI has two opportunities they are sharing with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni.

 

The first is The Honors Internship.  This opportunity is open to the undergraduate and graduate population with graduation dates in Fall 2018 or later.  This internship is paid and will allow students to work alongside FBI employees on case support, research projects, program management projects, and more.  The program runs from mid June 2018 – mid August 2018 with the option to continue into the school year.

Requirements

To apply, the student must:

  • Have US citizenship
  • Attend a college or university full-time as an undergraduate, graduate, or post-doctorate students
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the program
  • Pass all FBI employment background investigation requirements
  • Able to receive a Top Secret security clearance

 

The second opportunity the FBI is offering is The Collegiate Hiring Initiative.  This is open to college graduates with a graduation date from June 2016 – June 2018, and military veterans with a college graduation date from June 2011 – June 2018.  Graduates of all degree programs are welcome, however, the FBI especially seeks those with key degrees/skills in information technology, computer science, and data analytics.

 

Both The Honors Internship and The Collegiate Hiring Initiative applications are open until 11:59 PM EST, Sunday, October 15, 2017.
