2019 Biomedical Engineering REU Summer 2019 Internships

Looking for a summer internship? The Biomedical Engineering Department at Wake Forest University is offering 10-week summer undergraduate research opportunities in 2019. Students selected for this Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program will receive a stipend and on-campus housing.

Exciting research opportunities include 23 biomedical engineering projects offered by 17 different faculty on topics, including:

  • Injury prediction model development
  • Military, sports and spaceflight safety
  • Osteoporosis prevention
  • Biomechanical characterization of injury mechanisms
  • Diagnostics and therapies for cancer patients
  • Biomedical informatics
