ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is looking for intern

ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a world-renowned, member-based professional organization focused on serving the technical, educational, and other programmatic needs of the engineering and technology communities worldwide. We are currently looking for an administrative intern in our Washington, DC office.

In your role at ASME you will be helping to provide administrative support for programs and activities associated with ASME Global Public Affairs, including but not limited to: government relations, industry outreach, and international relations.

The applicant must possess strong communication, multitasking, and organization skills. The position requires administrative acumen and attention to detail. She/he must also have the ability to work independently, complete assignments on time, and offer viable solutions.  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.

Time Commitment:         15 hours per week, during the hours of 9:00 – 5:10 PM,

                                           Monday thru Friday

Duration:                             3 months

Compensation:                $15.00 per hour

Starting Date:                    ASAP
