Envirorun DC would like to invite GW Mechanical Engineering students to join them for their May run and speaker meetup next Tuesday evening, May 14.
This month, following the usual 3-5 mile group run, participants will be joined by marine energy technologist and founder of The Liquid Grid, David Hume. David Hume will discuss emerging R&D that the Water Power Technologies Office at the US Department of Energy (DOE) is working on to advance wave, tidal, and ocean current energy technologies as well as his own career path.
Participants will meet up for the run and conclude at the WeWork located a few blocks off-campus at 1875 K Street NW. There is no cost to attend.
