Position Specific Summary: Dr. Ahmed Louri is seeking a highly motivated & skilled student for an open Student Administrative Assistant II position to assist with clerical, digital file processing, proofreading, purchasing, scheduling, travel arrangements, & other work as needed by the Professor. The position will assist Dr. Louri & his research staff in the day-to-day operations of the High Performance Computing Architecture & Technology (HPCAT) lab. Please note this is not an academic research position. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of G Drive and Microsoft Box Previous admin experience

Standard Position Description: The student will support professors and/or graduate teaching assistants during lectures and laboratory sessions. Tasks may include: assist the instructor with lecture and or laboratory sessions, grading assignments, taking notes during class, may hold office hours to assist students, and preparation of course materials. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.

Required Qualifications: Some applicable educational, technical, or professional experience required, some training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently enrolled at GWU in BS or MS program Knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong editorial, proofreading, & grammar skills Familiarity with web content management Reliable, organized, & attention to detail Ability to work effectively in team environment 3.00+ GPA
