Student Success Story: Stephanie Gonzalez
Stephanie Gonzalez ’19 graduated with a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from GW’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. She interned at both the Facilities Office at GWU and the Embassy of Mexico. Something she took away from her experiences is “the application of energy and water data analysis” and knowledge about “sustainability programs.” When asked about how the SEAS Careers Team was useful during her job search process, she indicated that “review of resume and cover letters, practice for interviews, and review of offer letters” were useful. She reported that, in addition to the SEAS Careers Team, “professors and friends” were also helpful during her search, as they “gave [her] suggestions of companies where [she] could look for job opportunities.” When asked about what advice she would give to current SEAS students, she provided the following recommendation, “Do internships before graduation and study abroad.”
