URx Pathways, is a free event designed to introduce students from underrepresented backgrounds to the multitude of career paths in tech outside of engineering! This is an immersive learning experience delivered by tech professionals from Amazon, Facebook, Deloitte, and a host of other companies.
Students will also have the opportunity to connect with recruiters onsite and learn about potential opportunities.
DC is the first city to host this pilot Pathways event and it will take place October 26 at GW’s School of Engineering. The event agenda can be found here. This event is open to students across DC, therefore there are a select number of seats for GW students.
So register now via this application form. The priority deadline to apply is Friday, October 18. As the host school, GW students will automatically be approved to attend the event.
