If you’re ready to chase your dream, then start your application for the 2021 GW NVC. All GW students are encouraged to apply—there is a competition track for every idea. Submissions are due by 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
No need to wait until the last minute, the submission process is easy and worth your time. Just by submitting your application you will get amazing feedback on your idea, a chance to win cash and prizes, and take part in an “only at GW” experience that’s great to put on your résumé. If you have an idea that you’ve been itching to launch or general curiosity about the world of entrepreneurship and innovation, this is your time.
There are only two steps in the NVC application process:
- First step: Submit a description of your idea (including a 1,250-word overview, problem statement, your solution, revenue/funding model, innovative/creative section, and who’s on your team)
- Second step: Submit a 2-minute video (It can be taken on your phone!)
Even if you’re new to this process you should apply. Our team is here to help you with your application and entrepreneurial journey. The GW NVC was created to give all GW students, faculty, and alumni a real-world, experiential learning opportunity in entrepreneurship. It was designed to allow competition winners to actually launch and operate their ventures while maintaining complete control of their companies through the issuance of non-dilutive cash grants as prize money.
