Federal Resume Writing: Presented by OPM

Preparing a résumé for federal jobs is unlike creating one for jobs in the private and nonprofit sectors. To do so requires an understanding of the nuances of federal hiring. Hear  from DeShan Mingo, Senior HR Specialist at OPM, to learn strategies on developing and writing a résumé when you apply for federal jobs. By the end of this session, you will know the importance of the résumé in applying for federal Jobs and why preparing a thorough résumé is the single best step you can take towards obtaining federal government employment; gain critical tips and guidelines for improving your résumé; and learn how to use the USAJOBS Résumé Builder to create a new résumé.

There will be time Q&A.
