Astrea Media is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating innovative film and

interactive media projects that generate positive change. We ar currently developing an

award winning VR and smartphone app fantasy game that activates people around

climate change. The prototype was presented at the United Nations General Assembly

Climate Summit and won an award at SIGGRAPH Asia. We are seeking a game

programmer with expertise in Unreal Engine and knowledge of Unity to work with our

team to take the project to the next level. Location is not important, as it will be remote

work. This is a paid position that is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

 Ensure game meets technical goals regarding stability, performance, and

platform requirements

 Design, implement, and maintain key parts of gameplay, engine, and tools

systems

 Development of gameplay mechanics

 Helping to guide a team

Qualifications:

 Experience programming Unreal Engine

 Familiarity with Unity.

 IOS App development experience.

 Proficiency in C++, Blueprints, or C#.

 Solutions-based approach to problem solving.

 Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills.

 Ability to work independently as candidate will be required to work

remotely

Bonus:

 Familiarity with artist tools.

 API programming (Maya, Substance etc.)

 Artist tools development.

 Experience with networking.
