Position Title: Entry Level- Customer Service Associate

Reports to: VP of Operations
Under moderate supervision, The Customer Service Associate is responsible for ensuring sales orders and invoicing are accurately entered in a timely manner. This position is customer facing and requires strong customer relation skills. This position oversees the entire order process from accepting and entering orders to arranging transportation and ensuring accuracy of shipments. The associate will also perform routine clerical and administrative duties such as handling light office duties, filing, answering telephones, and assisting visitors. This position will be responsible for creating and/or verifying all paperwork associated with incoming orders and that invoicing is accurate.
The Customer Service Associate must be a highly motivated, team player. This position would best fit someone who is eager to learn with a critical attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None*
Works directly with – Sales team, Warehouse Supervisor, Production Supervisors, and Controller.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Enter and maintain all sales orders, blanket/contract orders in a timely manner (daily). Generate sales order related documentation and deliver to Warehouse Supervisor after orders have been approved.
B. Arrange shipment bookings for domestic customers.
C. Maintain/update open orders report for customer due dates.
D. Maintain/Update shipping calendar for domestic and export shipments.
E. Contact carriers for deliveries to the appropriate port or destination for all orders.
F. Verify that shipments match the sales order quantities and requirements.
G. Generate customer billings.
H. File invoices after payment in a timely manner (weekly).
I. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
J. Create and close purchase orders.
K. AP Processing
L. Other duties as assigned by Management.
Marginal Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Reconciling and resolving any logistics issues.
B. Provide administrative support to management with any tasks as needed.
Pay Range: $17 – $22
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 to $22.00 /hour
