DDC Client Relations Intern
DDC Public Affairs is currently seeking a Fall Intern to support our Client Relations team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience working on issue based advocacy campaigns for a fast-paced, public affairs firm in the Washington, DC Metro area. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, assisting with campaign research and analysis, and coordinating meetings and calls for political consultants throughout the country.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bright student with a strong interest in politics and public affairs to apply your political course work in a corporate setting. This will be a paid internship with a flexible timeline for the start and completions of the program.
· Pursuing BA/BS in Political Science or related field
· Strong interest in and understanding of politics and public affairs
· Campaign experience and understanding of grassroots tactics strongly preferred
· Outstanding MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills
· Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
· This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity
· Gain professional experience and industry knowledge
· Work in a collaborative, dynamic office in the heart of Washington, DC, remote options may be available as well
