Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. program the following year.
About the Structuring Team
The Structuring team at DWS sits within our Product division. The team is responsible for developing innovative investment solutions for our retail and institutional investors worldwide. While the focus of activities lies on quantitative aspects, regulatory and/or accounting issues relating to the developed investment solutions also play a pivotal role.
As a Structuring Intern you will:
- Work closely with the Structuring team on the development of new investment solutions and product concepts.
- Support the development of complex model-based Strategic Asset Allocations for institutional clients.
- Perform simulations and sensitivity analyses of various investment strategies and portfolio compositions and support the development of the applications used for this purpose in Python.
- Prepare documents supporting sales, product specialists and structurers in communicating complex investment solutions to clients.
- Learn about portfolio structuring and development of regulatory capital sensitive/efficient investment solutions.
We’re looking for:
- Must hold valid right to work in the US from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2026.
- Must possess less than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience (excluding other internships).
- Strong quantitative skills. Finance, Business Mathematics, Mathematics or Computer Science majors would be preferred.
- Programming skills in Python would be advantageous.
