The Federal Reserve Board Design and Construction team is responsible for facility renovation, maintenance and repair construction projects across our facilities. We execute multiple projects and ensure contractor compliance with requirements in all phases of a facility lifecycle.
Competencies/Learning Objectives: engineering, design and construction process and project management skillsets, decision making; organization; communication; learning agility.
Suggested Major/Minor: Engineering or engineering technical field of study to include: civil, mechanical, electrical and/or construction management; architecture; and related fields of study.
Required Skills and Knowledge: MS Office
Preferred Skills: Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT; estimating and scheduling/project management; administration; and site inspections.
This internship will require on site presence at our offices in Washington, DC for most hours. The expectation is that the student will work a minimum of 20 hours a week during the semester, and 40 hours a week during the summer.
US Citizenship is required for all Board internships and applicants must be current students, graduating from their program fall 2022 or later.
