This is a PAID internship.The internship start and end dates are flexible, but will take place for at least 10-12 weeks over the summer.Candidate will be considered for full-time position upon graduation depending upon performance.Option for continued work remotely if returning to school in the Fall.Responsibilities / Duties:The summer intern will:• Assist with continuous improvement projects in refining operations, including field data gathering, analysis, and documentation. • Interface with customers regarding orders, tracking and tracing• Learn route planning optimization• Financial Analysis including but not limited to cost analysis, projections, and bid proposals• Keep accurate and up to date information on clientele• Conduct research Eligibility requirements include:• You must be eligible to work in the country in which the internship is offered.• Have a strong academic record (3.2 GPA or better). • You must be entering senior year in college or have completed your degree• Looking for a candidate majoring in the fields of supply chain management or other applicable business majors• You must be at least 18 years old. • You must be able to work a minimum of ten (10) consecutive weeks during the time when the internship is offered. • Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to write clearly and accurately, and strong verbal communication skills are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.• As part of the hiring process, you must successfully complete a background investigation, reference check, and/or drug screen. Location:• Baltimore, MD
