The Role

Forecast International (FI) is seeking a part-time research intern to join our team for an up to 12-week paid internship. FI is leading the charge in broad-spectrum aerospace and defense market coverage, setting the standard in industry forecasting. In this role, you will be supporting our analytical team as it conducts research into the latest industry trends. As the summer intern, you will report directly to our Senior Defense Electronics Analyst.

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) remote internship. The ability to occasionally visit our Newtown, Connecticut office is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Aerospace and Defense Industry Analysts with Research
  • Identifying Emerging Aerospace and Defense Programs
  • Composing Abstracts of Breaking A&D News
  • Contributing to Aircraft Inventory and Military Vehicle Inventory Assessments
  • Database Entry

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Current Enrollment in an Accredited Four-Year Bachelor’s Program
  • Strength in Writing and Critical Analysis
  • Interest in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Familiarity with the Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite Environments
  • Knowledge of Geopolitics and History is a plus
