Does this look like your ideal Internship?Join our innovative and fast paced RF Engineering team at Intelsat Commercial Aviation. You will gain exposure to engineering, performance monitoring, and reporting of Satellite Networks used for In-Flight connectivity across the world. This position also provides exposure to the engineering processes of planning, design, implementation, and performance monitoring used in satellite network engineering. Cool stuff you’ll be able to do:· Assist in the review and aggregation of system parameters for satellite networks.· Implement and optimize a central database of system parameters for performance analysis.· Participate in analysis of RF performance for commercial systems used in satellite networks.· Learn to identify key problems to target for resolution of system anomalies. You should definitely have:Eligible candidates must be one of the following:Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or universityPart-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or universityMay 2021 graduate (Summer Interns Only)Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism and maturity in the workplaceEffective communicator in both written and spoken EnglishGood oral and written communication skillsProficiency in use of MSOffice Suite3.0 GPA or above preferred  But it would be nice if you had:Working towards or completed a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.· Understanding of electromagnetics and physics for the development of achievable antenna performance· Interest in learning satellite and telecommunication systems used in the delivery of Wi-Fi to aircraft.· Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to work in a team environment.· MS Office experience with proficiency in Excel and exposure to programming (MATLAB, Python, SQL) strongly preferred.  About Us:We’re Gogo commercial Aviation, An Intelsat Company.
