The intern will contribute to physical layer and system-level research, development, and analysis of innovative solutions for future NR Sidelink systems and technologies applicable for both continued V2X and vertical applications including NR SL communications in higher frequency ranges (SL FR2), NR SL power saving enhancements, Reduced Capabilities (RedCap) device connectivity over NR SL and deployment of SL in unlicensed spectrum (SL-U). The intern will provide theoretical writing and presentation of the design accompanied with evaluation using simulations.
- B.Eng., M.S.; or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (or similar / equivalent)
- Experience in the field of wireless communications
- Experience and/or knowledge of 3GPP NR Standards is desired
- Experience and/or knowledge of 3GPP R14/R15 LTE V2X and R16 NR V2X is desired
- Experience in link level (L1/PHY) and/or system level (L1/PHY, L2/MAC) simulations and proficiency with MATLAB is desired
