McLaughlin Research Corporation is looking for an experienced Computer Engineer to support our Code 45 Platform and Payload Integration Department tasking at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
Working with a multi-disciplined team of Government and industry engineers, the successful candidate will provide software development, integration, testing, and modification of various software applications related to submarine launcher and payload integration projects.
Requirements include experience with C, C#, and UI/UX, experience designing and developing database schema, database query, and data management, and experience developing and executing test cases to validate software performance in both a stand-alone and integrated environment.
Must be able to work effectively as part of an integrated project team, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with priority changes being the norm rather than the exception.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance – having an active Secret clearance would be a plus!
Bachelor’s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
5 years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks to include:
C# programming and UI/UX experience
Database schema design, database query design, and data management experience.
C experience and experience with payload interface a plus!
