Nanowear is the new standard-bearer for A.I-based remote diagnostics utilizing its proprietary cloth-based nanotechnology.  Nanowear will improve the quality of preventive medicine, practitioner productivity, and patient care through Nanowear’s connected-care platform. Nanowear’s application spans opportunities across therapeutics and other industry verticals, including neurological monitoring, clinical and pharmaceutical research, and military and industrial safetyDescription: Nanowear is looking for Engineering Technicians to support the R&D and Hardware Engineering teams. The Technician will be trained adequately by the Engineers and are expected to assist multiple engineering teams in the development, assembly, and testing of the electrical, electronics, and mechanical components at engineering level and at production scale.Job Duties: ·       Conduct testing of mechanical, electrical, sensor components, subsystems and systems; and formulate test reports.·       Construct, troubleshoot, test, and maintain electronic and electromechanical measuring and indicating instruments, devices, or systems as needed. ·       Build prototypes and test fixtures, inspect incoming parts, manage lab and lab equipment including calibration and maintenance.·       Maintain technical documentation; write technical reports and develop charts / graphs / schematics to describe and illustrate system’s operating characteristics, malfunctions, and deviations from design specifications. ·       Record test data, maintain test data file system, and accept/reject data for production and engineering units. Performs failure analysis including root cause and corrective action on test failures.·       Review product test requirements and verify and document that all requirements have been met.·       Manage non-conformance process for production materials.·       Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.·       Maintain engineering specifications and other related technical records. Compiles and classifies data to existing information as requested by the engineering departments.Experience and Qualifications: Required: ·       High School Diploma or GED required; 3-5 year industrial electrical experience or 2-year technical degree.·       Debug under the guidance of an Engineer. ·       Attention to details. Eagerness to learn new skills and new tools. ·       Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. ·       Strong digital literacy required; Microsoft Office proficiency required. Preferred: ·       Associate or Bachelors degree in a technical field. ·       Experience reworking PCBs, solder to add or remove components.·       Experience with at least one data acquisition system. ·       Use of lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Function generator, Soldering station, etc.) ·       Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. ·       Simple mechanical machining skills and 3D mechanical design CAD experience·       Computerized Maintenance / Inventory Management Systems experience preferred.
