Job DescriptionThis internship will help you establish hands-on embedded software development experience in a fast growing AI/ML area especially in the deep learning vision based edge devices. You’ll work with experienced engineers to accomplish the following:Job Summary:Optimize deep learning applications such as facial recognition and object detectionProfile and analyze neural network layer performance on Edge devicesEvaluate and compare inference engines features and performance on Edge devicesStudy, compare and report various deep learning inference enginesImplement machine learning algorithms in a resource constrained deviceBenchmark machine learning models on MCU/MPU devicesImplement/integrate Machine Learning software modulesSpecification and documentation according to NXP guidelinesJob Qualifications: Enrolled in Bachelor or Master Degree program in Computer Engineering/ScienceExperience with Python and/or C programming languagesExposure to embedded SW developmentExposure to Machine learning frameworks (eg. TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent team memberSelf drivenPayrate is hourly and depends on year in school, higher rates for Masters level students
