Internship Expires March 1, 2021

Quartus Engineering Incorporated (www.quartus.com) is a leading provider of mechanical, optical, aerospace and electrical engineering services and integrated hardware solutions for the aerospace, defense, entertainment, commercial, consumer, and medical industries. We support our clients with advanced mechanical, optical, aerospace and electrical design, analysis, optimization, test, prototype development, and manufacturing using modern CAD and CAE tools and leveraging our clean room laboratories.

We are looking for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering students interested in working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment and who are excited about assisting on a variety of projects to join our growing team. Some examples of projects students have worked on in the past include design, analysis, prototype development and/or testing of satellites, aircraft structures, launch vehicles, composite UAVs, cell phones, mp3 players, telescopes, roller coasters, and opto-mechanical laser and camera assemblies.

Get Real World Experience:

In today’s competitive professional world, the most qualified job candidates possess more than classroom experience. They leave college and enter the workforce with hands-on exposure to their chosen fields, gained through enriching internships with prominent organizations. Quartus places high value on internship experience when making hiring decisions. And through our own Internship and co-op programs, we strive to shape the future leaders of our company. As a Quartus intern, you’ll be challenged to realize your own potential. You’ll learn from Quartus professionals and immerse yourself in real project work. From day one, you’re an important member of our team. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a well-rounded view of life at Quartus, The typical sequence includes:

  • Setting goals for learning and achievement
  • Receiving guidance from Quartus mentors
  • Working on actual client projects and visiting job sites
  • Interacting with other interns on special projects
  • Receiving feedback and a formal evaluation from your supervisor

What Makes Quartus Different?

From your internship with Quartus, you’ll take away an invaluable work experience, a sense of contribution to the community, and hopefully some new friends. Perhaps most importantly, you’ll leave with the feeling of being valued. Unlike many programs, prior Quartus interns are given strong consideration for full-time employment after graduation.

Are You Up to the Challenge?

Quartus is looking for aspiring individuals who want to make a difference in the world and in themselves. Our ideal internship candidates are:

  • Juniors, Seniors, and Masters students currently enrolled at a four-year institution
  • Majoring in an Engineering field
  • Proactive, open-minded, eager to learn and willing to work hard as part of a team
  • Interested in analysis
  • Available full time for specified term (40 hours per week)

Location

Although this internship will primarily be remote, preference will be given to local candidates or candidates willing to relocate to the DMV area.

Quartus is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to employing a diverse workforce, including, but not limited to, minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans.
