About Us

We’re a fast-growing startup designing, developing, and building autonomous robots for laboratory environments. Our robots will help scientists run experiments more efficiently, safely, and with better repeatability. We work at the intersection of robotics, software, and engineering — which means quality, documentation, and compliance actually matter here (a lot).

About the Role

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Quality & Test Engineering Internto help us as we scale. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with engineers and scientists to support development, testing, quality systems, technical documentation, and regulatory research for lab-deployed robotic systems.

If you like structure and innovation — and want to see how real products get built in a startup — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Work with engineers to make sure technical inputs and outputs, test plans, design notes, and reports are established and documented clearly

Provide hands-on verification and validation (V&V) test support to ensure the effectiveness and safety of our laboratory robots

Collect and organize performance data to help identify patterns in hardware failure or software glitches

Assist with the establishment and maintenance of an equipment calibration and management system.

Help create, update, and organize quality documentation (SOPs, work instructions, records)

Pitch in on continuous improvement projects as we grow and evolve

What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

Strong attention to detail (you notice when something is off)

A curiosity to understand the lifecycle of product development and a desire to contribute to the unique operations of an early-stage startup

Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable reading technical or scientific material

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

Coursework or exposure to quality systems, regulatory affairs, or lab operations

Familiarity with laboratory environments or equipment

Interest in robotics, automation, or scientific tools

Understanding of AI systems, prompting, and associated limitations

Why This Internship Is Cool

You’ll see how real lab robots go from ideation to prototype to deployment

You’ll work directly with engineers and scientists

You’ll learn how quality and compliance function inside a startup

Your work will directly impact products used in clinical laboratories

Mentorship from experienced technical and quality professionals
