Our commercial real estate company needs help with our lead generation, branding, outreach, digital marketing, and social media. We need to create awareness about our business offering (with businesses/office tenants in Metro DC) and about our growth plans (with our peers for recruiting purposes).
Job responsibilities: Take over and manage our social media on Facebook, Instagram, linked in, Twitter, etc. Create a comprehensive strategy for improving our brand recognition in the DC Metro area. Take over the management of our new website (and make improvements as you see fit). Manage our Mailchimp account and create mass e-mailers to prospective clients, and to the broker community about our commercial real estate listings. Be a brand ambassador and attend social functions like broker opens and broker parties for networking purposes.
Goals: to improve a small company’s brand in the DC Market. To take ownership and design a strategy. To learn more about our industry and about working with/growing a small company. Possibly to receive an offer of full-time employment.
Qualifications: Proficient with social media, brand/logo/website design. Graphic design skills highly attractive.
Earning outcomes/Objectives: Our intern will “take over” the projects from the last intern. All of this progress has been documented and is available via a conference call (hand-off) with our last intern. In addition to learning about our industry (by identifying the content that will be shared via social media), our intern will learn about our we, as brokers, communicated and market to other brokers, prospective clients, and new hires. Our intern will also work closely with our web designer, as we roll out our new website, brand, and possibly our new corporate logo and even company name. The objective for our company is to have someone continue working on our social media, marketing, and branding projects.
