As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up the end to end CI/CD using Jenkins, various Jenkins Plugins including Build Optimization using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and Electric Cloud and Binary Repositories such as Artifactory.You will be responsible to work with DevOps Architect to develop the respective scripts or configure the necessary applications to support the CI/CD.You will also work closely with development team to rollout the CI/CD for the engineering team.You may need to work closely with SCM to get the desired performance. Infrastructure. Responsibilities· Working with DevOps Architect to develop the necessary scripts to launch CI/CD for software programs.· Develop the CI/CD work flow based on CI/CD Architecture· Constantly monitor the build times and suggest if any modifications or tuning require for the build infrastructure.· Create efficient reports with respect to usage of build infra· Work closely with IT team to resolve any issues on hardware.· Troubleshoot any Jenkins, Artifactory, Electric Accelerator issues.Requirements· Junior/Senior in Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science· Scripting Tools: C++, Python, html, Java,· Operating system: Windows, Linux,· Proficient in MS Office Tools :Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.· Knowledge of databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle,· Knowledge of GIT/Jira and other open source software development technologies.· Ability to self-learn new technologies and work on POCs· Ability to identify areas of Automation and implement using tools and reusable components· Willingness to learn new technologies/products on the job· Experience working in and have good understanding of Development process like Agile, waterfall· Excellent written and oral communication skills.· Excellent problem solving skillsPreferred Requirements· If any, include any preferred requirementsAbout VisteonVisteon is a global company that designs, engineers and manufactures innovative cockpit electronics products and connected car solutions for most of the world’s major vehicle manufacturers.
