Job DescriptionVMware is seeking a highly motivated/results oriented Full Stack engineer to be part of exciting learning/ developing experience for leading edge automation/tools for HCI/Next Gen vSAN Products. We are looking for an engineer interested in problem solving, developing testing tools, to design automated tests to find bugs in our products or design plans to ensure that the products operate efficiently with all hardware and software systems.Roles and Responsibilities- Build rapid prototypes and work on fast paced projects.- Understanding the key requirements for the data center virtualization orchestration, architecting a solution and delivering a working prototype and the final product- Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of a distributed platform for container-packaged applications.- Review and test existing technologies and software components and make recommendations for use and integration.- Collaborate effectively with other staff to solve complex problems.- Assist with debugging and verification of defects in your own and others’ work.-Comfortable with python, AngularJS, (Flask and Java knowledge: optional)Requirements• Scripting experience with Python/BASH/Shell, along with working knowledge of AngularJS, Flask (Java Optional)• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent• Linux/Unix systems administration with strong understanding of storage and networking technologies is preferred• Must have automation experience with Python• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization products is a plus• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills• Must be a strong team player• Must have excellent communication and organization skills• Self-motivated, be able to work independently and fast learnerEducation• BS/MS in Computer Science/ Engineering or related fieldsVMware is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: VMware is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
