The Knative team is looking for folks who are passionate and excited about working in Open Source and community driven projects. Knative is an open source project focused on running serverless containers on Kubernetes with ease. As an engineer on the team, your primary focus will be on developing new features in one of the Knative working groups alongside other community and team members.

As an intern on the Knative team:
- You will learn and apply new technologies (Kubernetes, Knative, CloudEvents), best design practices and usability patterns
- You get to contribute to end-to-end system architecture, working with back-end engineers
- You get to collaborate with product managers and other technical teams to create a delightful user experience
- Pursuing a BS in CS or equivalent required.
- Willingness to learn GO.
- Experienced in Java
- Exposed to Kubernetes and/or serverless concepts through past internships or projects
- Exposed to basic HTTP, HTTP2, gRPC networking
- Proven CS, OOP/OOD, design patterns
- Experienced participating in existing open source projects is a plus
- Experienced in Go
- Strong communication (verbally and written) and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Experience with Cloud based services, Microservices a Cloud Computing class or similar experience
- Previous internship experience is a plus
