HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
The Electrical Engineer intern will assist Electrical Engineers with multiple task and projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering. Some responsibilities include:
- Support Electrical Engineer in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development
- Select parts or components for quality conscious design, ie, weight, cost, reliability, and easy of manufacturing
- Use 3D modeling software integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for trucks
- Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance
- Generate bill of materials
- Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related field throughout the entire duration of internship
- Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or above
