Ways to Engage

  • Post A Job

      • Post internships, full-time and part-time jobs, and other opportunities to the university-wide job board Handshake, a one stop-stop-shop for recruiting. Use the resources at the bottom of the page to learn how to create an account and add GW to your list of schools. You can access Handshake at
  • Tabling / “Meet & Greet”

Set up a table in the Science & Engineering Hall to showcase your company and promote opportunities to students. Similar to a personal career fair, this can also prove to be a great way to improve overall brand recognition amongst the student population.
  • Information Session or Tech Talk

Share your knowledge in a formal or informal presentation to students. This may include industry trends, technical talks, an overview of your company, or a creative professional development workshop. If you are also recruiting students with majors in other GW schools, such as the School of Business, please let us know and we can coordinate a joint program.
  • On-Campus Interviews (OCI)

      • Interview students easily and efficiently. You can request an interview schedule in Handshake. If you need assistance please contact the recruiting team at or 202-994-8633.
For all event requests, please avoid key dates such as academic breaks or final exams on the GW Academic Calendar, as well as major religious holidays. Please note we do not host events on Fridays aside from those larger events listed below.

Use these resources along with the ones listed at the bottom of the page to learn more about recruiting at GW and hiring students. If you can’t find an answer to your question please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at or 202-994-4205.
