SEAS alum builds his own smart watch

SEAS alumnus Samson March (BS ’14, electrical engineering) recently finished building his own smart watch from scratch. Word spread—eventually going viral—and Samson and his watch were featured in articles on the tech blogs Engadget and The Verge, and he ended up getting job offers from Google, Oculus, Uber, and SpaceX. Samson designed and built every aspect of the watch, from creating the housing, to 3D printing it, and writing every line of code for it. He also made the project open source, so anyone else can access the files.

See how he did it here.
