Connect with International Student Community Ambassadors!

The International Student Community Ambassadors (ISCA) serve the entire GW international student population, by supplementing the acculturation, engagement, and professional career services provided by the International Services Office (ISO) and GW Center for Career Services. ISCAs provide the following services to ALL GW international students:

  • Peer Mentorship: Serve as peer mentors to newly admitted students pre and post arrival through engagement via email, social media, pre-arrival webinars, post-arrival airport pickup, ISO orientation week events, and The HUB (a new 3-series initiative launched by the ISO to improve the first year experience of incoming international students).
  • Career Advising: Review resumes and cover letters, provide advice on interviewing and networking tips, and direct international students to useful job and internship search resources.
  • Acculturation and Community Building: Help international students to better integrate into GW, DC, and the U.S. through advising, support, and community resources.
  • Events: Organize social, cultural, and professional events specifically designed for international students.

ISCA advising hours have officially begun and please check the website for more information on advising hours.
