Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work within our Non-Investment Grade team, which manages over $40B+ in assets globally. Our goal is to further deepen our research resources and position our team to build upon our long-term track record of performance. The successful candidate will join a large team of Research Analysts, Traders and Portfolio Managers responsible for managing high yield and leveraged loan assets.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and integrate issuer fundamentals and industry trends into actionable investment recommendations
- Perform in-depth issuer and industry analysis across a variety of sectors
- Assist in building and maintaining detailed financial models
- Monitor newswires and other data sources for information relevant to investment positions
- Identify industry relevant ESG factors and how they impact an issuer’s credit profile
- Prepare investment recommendation materials for presentation to senior analysts and portfolio managers
Qualifications:
- Seeking a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
- December 2024 or Spring 2025 expected graduates preferred
- Interest in financial markets and investing
- Capable of analyzing complex topics and effectively communicating conclusions to senior analysts and portfolio managers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and aptitude for quickly learning new skills and technologies
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum GPA of 3.3
